澳大利亚纽卡斯尔大学赖柏欣博士访问浙大管院旅游系并作精彩演讲

 2016年6月29日，来自澳大利亚纽卡斯尔大学(The University of Newcastle)的赖柏欣博士访问旅游管理系。并带来主题为“观光与游憩资源在变迁环境下的管理议题--澳洲经验之分享”的讲座，该讲座由王婉飞教授主持。赖博士的主要研究领域为“可持续旅游”（Sustainable tourism），营销研究（Marketing research）等。

    以位于澳大利亚东部的格洛斯特(Gloucester)乡村地区为例, 赖柏欣博士的这项研究在基于社会呈现理论（Social Representation Theory），研究了当地的小型观光公司（STF, Small Tourism Firm）在面对当地矿业发展，煤炭开采对当地乡村风光，林业资源等旅游资源造成负面影响，这一变化环境下如何重构其对本土乡村旅游的表征，以及其如何应对外部世界的变化，促进旅游业成功经营。

    这一研究同时采用了定量和定性两种方法，讲座期间，赖博士着重介绍了定性研究的部分。通过对18家当地小型观光公司的访谈，该研究回答了以下三个问题：1、煤矿业引入之前，当地小型观光公司对当地乡村地区是如何表征的？2、煤矿业引入之后（环境发生变化），他们对当地乡村地区是如何表征的？3、小型观光公司又是如何应对这一变化？

    研究结果表明煤矿业引入之前，小型观光公司对当地的表征可以归纳为：自然景观（natural landscape）,乡村社区（Rural Community），以及在心理文化层面呈现出的地方依恋（Place Attachment）与自我认同（Self-Identity）。引入之后，这种表征转变为“A Mining Town”,暗示煤炭业对当地乡村旅游名片的冲击。 应对这种变化。STF通过多渠道强化乡村旅游目的地的形象，开发多元化产品和达成周边合作等方式促进旅游业发展，同时在政府层面，通过游说政客等方式抵制一些发展煤炭业的议案。在结论部分，赖博士强调了STF在应对这种外界变化中表现出的企业家精神，以及跨文化比较这一可研究方向。这一深入浅出的讲座使在座师生受益匪浅，大受启发，赖博士也就在座师生的问题给出回答。

赖柏欣博士简介：

Dr. Po-Hsin Lai is a lecturer at the Business School of The University of Newcastle in Australia. She got her PhD in Texas A&M University. Her research expertise lies in three areas:

*People-place relationships in a constantly changing world: focusing on exploring the interconnectedness of the social and ecological system and applying this understanding to enhancing the resilience capacity of the social-ecological system with an emphasis in the tourism/recreation setting and urban-rural interface.

* Sustainable tourism: focusing on the analysis of the social, ecological, and cultural impacts of, and sustainable planning for nature-based tourism and ecotourism.

* Marketing research: focusing on the application of social marketing and relationship marketing to facilitating a sense of natural resource stewardship among visitors of public lands.
