Abstract: This case describes the process from foundation to failure of Hangzhou Intohotel Technology Group because of its innovative business model, which was founded by Lindong, the chairman of Lvsheng Group. Intohotel is a professional traval-managing Co. LTD targeting corporation and governments. Different from Ctrip and Elong, which are focusing individual customers, Intohotel is targeting business firms and companies. Moreover, customers do not need to pay during their travel until an appointed day while the bank will pay for the fee in advance according to customers’ credit. Intohotel won the recognition and popularity among peers and venture capitals because of its innovative and perfect business model. However, after a short brilliant period, some disadvantages started to emerge: customers started to decrease, bank was considering to quit, payment technology was outdated, etc. Original perfect business model was called into question. This case highlights the business model and developing process of Intohotel. which would provide new ideas and countermeasure to entrepreneurs when coming up with new business model.
