Objective
The program aims to prepare postgraduates with interdisciplinary knowledge bases, global perspectives, cross-cultural experiences, good language skills as well as sound foundations in management theories and methods.
Overview
The Global Entrepreneurship Program (GEP) was jointly developed by EMLYON Business School (France), Babson College (USA), and Zhejiang University (China). Drawing on the expertise of entrepreneurship education of the three institutes, the program is a new effort to develop global entrepreneurs of the future. The first cohort of the program was completed in August 2010. Sixty-five students from eighteen countries and regions participated in the program and they spent four months in France, USA and China respectively. The second phase will complete in August 2011. The GEP program is of far-reaching significance in innovating and improving the university’s graduate teaching and faculty development. In December 2010, the program was awarded ‘the most innovative international program of the past decade’.
Features
The program offers learning experiences at three prestigious institutes of higher education. Students get three certificates after the program.
