Led by Vice President Ping WU, a delegation of Zhejiang University visited Emlyon Business School, France, and were warmly received by President Patrick Molle and Vice President Dai SHEN. The delegation included Deputy Division Chief Min LI of Zhejiang University Foreign Relations, Director Zhengmin WU of Zhejiang University International Affairs Office, Associate Dean Ling CHEN of School of Management , Director Xianhong LI of Academic Affairs Office and Director Jiping ZHU of International Affairs Office. Both sides gave high credit for the cooperation made so far, and President of both universities signed a letter of intent for establishing a Sino-France Entrepreneurship Innovation School and developing extensive cooperation on Scientific, scholar visit and student exchange.
On the afternoon, Vice President Ping WU attended GEP Opening Ceremony which was held in Roland Calori in Emlyon Business School and delivered a speech. He said GEP was a great success of Zhejiang University internationalization and he hoped students from three countries would have more interaction. Also, vice president Ping WU expressed his expectation for GEP’s China study.
After the opening ceremony, Associate Dean Ling CHEN, Director Xianhong LI of Academic Affairs Office discussed with Raghu Tadepalli,Dean of Babson College and Patrice Houdayer, Associate Dean of Emlyon Business School on GEP project’s operation.
On the morning of 14th September, the delegation visited HEC, Paris and met with Associate President Bertrand Moingeon. Vice President Ping WU said Zhejiang University always attached great importance on cooperation with top universities like HEC Paris to improve its international recognition. During the day, the delegation also visited HEC campus.
